Kids with scissors

Post  blacksheep on Tue Sep 09, 2008 8:39 pm

A word to the wise, never, no matter how smart or responsible you think your child is, do NOT leave them alone in a room with a pair of scissors. I had to fix their barber jobs they did on each other and I have found numerous things around the house that has "mysteriously" been cut up.

I wouldnt even know what to do if my daughters get ahold of some scissors and cut their hair!! I have 4 girls and they all have beautiful long hair id probably cry! My 5 year old fell asleep with some gum in her mouth last year and when she woke up with it in her hair. Instead of telling me so that i could try to get it out she pulled her hair out trying to get it out herself. She was scared I was gonna spank her for having the gum in the first place (which i did).It took about a year but now her hair is back to what it was before she pulled it out,but not as long as it used to be.The scissors are kept out of reach at my house and are only brought out when im there to supervise what their cutting

KIDS SHOULD NEVER HAVE SCISSORS!

Post  BabyBear1 on Wed Sep 10, 2008 5:19 pm

Just this week, my one year old niece learned how to use scissors. I found her sitting behind the couch cutting up my math notes. I'm really lucky she didn't go to town on my book as well. I couldn't stay mad at her for long because she's so cute.flower

One time when I was four I got ahold of the scissors so ive been told and I cut off my bangs and I looked like the toddler version of Loyd from the movie Dumb and Dumber. Which is a funny movie by the way, and so is the sequel dumb and dumberer. Then this other time i got a hold of them and i cut my dads hair while he was sleeping and when he woke up he was late for work so he took off in a hurry and he said people were giving him weird looks when he stopped to get some gas. I dont remember any of this though.
