8 year old murderer

So this kind of goes along with the last post but I heard on the news today that an 8 year old boy shot his dad and his dad's friend. What do you think should be done with the boy??? At 8 years old you know what death is, so should he be punished, by AZ law he can be? It's scary to think that an 8 year old can kill someone on purpose!

But you don't kno the circumstances or what the boy was put through. Hell no he shouldnt be seriously punished like an adult...at 8 years old he is a little boy who still probably doesnt understand they wont be back forever or understand death. He deserves treatment...

i agree with the person who posted ahead of me.
maybe they need to give the boy a conciling session or something to see if he REALLY knew how serious the crime he committed was

Something very traumatic must have happened to this boy to be capable of this behavior. He should not be treated as an adult because he is just a young boy, and probably doesn't realize the consequences of his actions, or what death is all about. He needs assessment by a good child psychologist, and why was he interviewed without an adult or lawyer present? A kid has rights too!

I GUESS I WOULD HAVE TO HEAR WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES WERE BEFOR I DECIDE.

I would have to hear the whole story and of course first hand what exactly happened and what he lived thru to give an honest response. In the long run it's a tradegedy all the way around.
