I still think Hillary would have made a great president. If I have to choose between Obamarama or McCain, I will have to choose Obama as of right now. Though I do think that it was a good political ploy for McCain to choose Palin as his running mate. That should gain some of the Hillary supporters that are still upset that Obama took away the nomination from Hillary. Not sure how effective either one will really be, neither one has really a firm plan on how to change what needs to be changed.

I'm so glad to hear that you are an Obama supporter! I'd rather be working full time on his campaign than working full time and going to school full time, but there's the issue of money to pay my rent, etc. because I was a single mom for 25 years until both of my children finally left home. Could you PLEASE ask all your friends who are of leagal age to vote if they are registered to vote? I can bring some voter registration forms for anyone who needs to do so. I'll bring them to class next Tuesday.
I saw CBS National News tonight, and learned that VP nominee Palin LIED when she said "Thanks, but no thanks" to the federal monies for the "bridge to nowhere". She kept the money as governor of Alaska, but refused to allow state monies for the bridge to be built. Those monies were used for whatever was needed that she said okay too. And, what qualifications does she have anyways? I sure hope the former Hillary supporters doen't support her and McCain just because she is female; that would be really stupid.

i dont plan on voting this time around because during the last election the motto was vote or die you could hear it on MTV, BET, and any other music station. they were making it seem like your vote mattered and thats what i thought that my vote mattered so i went and voted and then stayed up all nite watching the campaign but in the end bush won and as we could all see that was a big mistake!! (lets try hurricane katrina for example!!) so this time around im going to just sit back and let everyone else vote and see if it make a difference!

well your vote always counts for something... because it would be called voting if they didn't take a vote and just because you vote doesn't mean the person you vote for is going to win

I think that if you don't vote then you don't have the right to complain about who the president is. At least if you vote you can say you tried.

I have to agree with the rest...voting is a RIGHT that you have. Maybe the person you vote for doesn't win, but at least you still have that right.

I will not be able to bring myself to the polls this election because I have very strong reasons why neither presidential canidateshould be allowed to run this country. My prefered canidate dropped out early due to financial reasons.

Voting should matter to everyone. Even if Obama doesn't win the election at least I will know that I tried to make a difference.

If I was to vote for anyone I would vote for obamba. I not sure If I will even get registered this time around or not,but I'm deffinatly democrate.Anyone who shares bush's opinion do not need to run are country.You see how the last four years went.
